My Thoughts After Struthof. . .


I leave my luch untouched. And people claim not to have known about that?
I cannot accept that millions of Germans allowed themselves to be fooled by a crazy fanatic.
When we stood in front of the former cesspit for a moment of silence for those who had been
killed or tortured, I felt so helpless that I just cried. I was shocked that thousands of
people could be persecuted and butchered because of their race or political beliefs without any
serious attempt by their countrymen to intervene. I will certainly need more time to think
through these impressions. (!!!)
